Seizure Training for School Nurses: Using Rescue Therapies in Epilepsy Care is a program designed to provide the school nurse with information and resources to gain a better understanding of rescue therapies for seizures. By the end of this course, participants will gain the knowledge, skills and confidence in using rescue therapies for children/youth with epilepsy and supporting them in a school setting.
The program consists of four modules to assist the school nurse in learning to effectively use rescue therapies in epilepsy care.
The course is intended for school nurses, but anyone can take the course to learn about epilepsy.

If you are a registered nurse, you will be eligible for continuing nurse education credits after completing the course and passing the post-assessment and completing the course evaluation.
This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
